Almost a home run!
Not 5 stars, but close... Product was easy to install, and does a pretty good job of managing my temperature so all my rooms are pretty close in temp, which surprisingly is an improvement from my old Rheem thermostat (I have a Rheem modulating furnace)... so it shows that it has a very good learning ability by monitoring environmental factors and tendencies without any direct input from me. Also, I like the Google Home integration so I can bump up the heat a degree just by speaking to my phone or Google Mini in the room. Now the not so great... It feels a bit cheap in materials like it may break from pushing on the display as I manually set the temperature. Luckily, I use my phone app most of the time to control it. Secondly, it doesn't offer many options through the interface (which ... Not 5 stars, but close... This is not a big deal for me personally, but it may be for some other people who need to control it reliably from outside the home. Ultimately, I'm happy with my purchase, but it could have been even better.

Probably a good NEW thermostat, but NOT AS A REFURB!!
I believe this would be a good thermostat if it were new, but this refurbished one has serious issues. It shows two degrees higher than three thermometers we have placed next to it and recently it was offline for two days. I like that it can be set to go with the color of the wall, but aesthetics are much less important than function. This one fails miserably at function!

Great unit with a little hitch.
This product is great except for one thing. Let's start with the good part. Installation was quite simple, at least for me. I'm sure it depends on what is being replaced. Mine was a older model analog -style thermostat. All the wiring was there so made it easy. Didn't even have to drill any holes since I was able to use the old ones. The looks of the unit it great. Obviously it gives you the inside temperature but also the humidity! Bonus is it also tells you the outside temperature but I they are getting the data from the internet so may not be as accurate. Love the fact that I can change the temperature from my phone! What a bonus. And here is the one thing that's negative. Smart and Stylish
Very smart thermostat, installation was straight forward and uncomplicated if you have basic knowledge of AC systems or have installed a new thermostat in the past. The Alexa app made this a real plus for control of indoor comfort, you just say, Alexa set thermostat at 73 and it's done. There is one thing that is really good on this item, the indigo backlight which stays on all the time so you can see what your set at without touching the screen. Very smart thermostat, installation was straight forward and uncomplicated if you have basic knowledge of AC systems or have installed a new thermostat in the past. The Alexa app made this a real plus for control of indoor comfort, you just say, Alexa set thermostat at 73 and it's done. Great Product
Had a problem with the screen not coming on after fitment. Called customer support. A few minutes to get someone on the line who suggested a voltage check which I did. Voltage was 18v on my sytsem and Honeywell said it should be 24v therefore airhandler voltage problem. While waiting for the electrician to call me back, I decided to check the fuse in the air handled. It was blown probably when I removed the old unit. Replaced the 3A fuse and all is back to normal. Maybe Honeywell should have such a troubleshooting tip in the manual! New unit works great. My wife is impressed and she generally prefers a basic unit.Had a problem with the screen not coming on after fitment. Called customer support.
