No. These did not work at all for me. Sticky fly paper traps are cheaper and far more effective.

they work great. I had a really bad infestation of fruit flies after I had to travel for work and came home to realize i forgot to throw out my fruit basket contents so I ordered these,, the two pack had 70% of them gone within 24 hours , they were completely gone within three days. Love how the iquid bait pours right into a slot on the trap so u don't get a mess in your hands or any of it on the top of the trap cause then they will just hang at the top instead of entering the trap.. great price also..

great value and great product

Four days ago, I put two of these TERRO Fruit fly traps on the countertops in my kitchen. One trap is right above my kitchen sink. Within minutes, fruit flies began gathering on their tops. Within an hour, fruit flies were visible through the little window. The photos of the two traps were taken minutes ago. Now, the traps are loaded with caught flies. I've lived in this Indiana house 16 1/2 years. I had never had these flies in my house until I bought 2 plants online that were shipped  from Florida in boxes. A couple of days after delivery, these fruit flies were everywhere! Even upstairs. There are no other new-to-my-house variables. Now, I'm  buying 4 more of these traps. I'm hyper-allergic and highly sensitive to fragrances. I don't smell anything emitting from these traps. They haven't affected me. These fruit flies must have continual hatchings because new ones appear in batches. The 2 new plants are placed in my kitchen area. This is where the flies mostly congregate. They leave the fresh, unpealed fruit alone, except for one red pear.

These work!

After reading other reviews I was kind of skeptical but I always try things out for myself. A lot of the reviews said this product don't work. I would like to say that isn't true they worked in my house. I sat 2 of them next to my hydroponic system which I'm growing vegetables and caught a bunch of fruit flies. They do sit outside the hole at first but eventually they go inside. You can't just sit there watching to see if they go in. Just put them in a place where you want them and let it sit without bothering it and come back a while later and see that it works. In the attached photos you can see them in the liquid.  The dark spot inside are fruit flies. I always give honest reviews on products I buy.  If you have a lot or like an infestation you might want to buy some spray to killed them or buy a lot of this product and place them where your seeing them most.

It works

Im an ex-Walmart lawn and garden associate and I use to walk by this product everyday. They have em around my department and the grocery aisle too. One time we had a pineapple that was left for weeks in the basement and sent a swarm of fruit flies, billions of them around the house. Set this baby up and man! In mere minutes they were all over it. I guarantee anybody this product isnt a scam.

Blam! Works! It really does

I tried another brand and it didn't kill then just stopped the breeding. I am so happy this kills. It has a scent similar to vinegar. I recommend the Terro products all the time.

I have to set it on the edge of a safe surface in a safe place, and flip a cup upside down over it. The fruit flies are still attracted to the bait but without the cup there they may fly away from the trap once attracted. The cup makes it much more likely they will fall into the bait. Really does last 3 months for your standard kitchen pests, and the most efficient at keeping them from flying around my kitchen and away from my produce that I have found yet to date. Repeating Customer for quite some time now.

This One! Best I've Found, But Note:

I laughed when I ordered this, fruit %26 drain flies don't care it it's an apple or the toe of uncle Joe you saved when he lost it in a bear trap 20 years ago. 

 The two pictures of this product show 5 days give or take a couple hours. 24 hrs after I set them out, I saw 2-4 in each, thought, I should write a review that these suck! I'm glad I waited.

I put 1 in kitchen and one in bathroom for first three days, then made my own for bathroom, and put the one in the bathroom in the kitchen also. 

I only used 1 of the Juice tubes, after reading instructions that they'll last 45 days.

My homemade one used approx 1/4 cup Bragg organic Raw Unfiltered apple cider vinegar, and 10 drops of dish detergent (a ratio I found online searching Google).

It's really easy to see 6-7 in my homemade trap using the ratio above, after 48 hours of use.

Compare that to the other two of this product. Zoom in and you'll see it is cloudy, but the number in something a bit bigger than a golf ball, show dozens in each trap.

I'd call this product a success. 

For my homemade, I'm going to monitor it another 3 days, for comparison to these pictures, and then alter my ration of Bragg and dish soap.

I'd suggest if you make your own Juice, don't use a fragranced dish soap. I used Great Value Eucalyptus/Mint. I'm sure a fragranced dish soap has defeated much/most of the scent of the Bragg apple cider vinegar, thus the not so spectacular results.

My next homemade Juice will be sure to use unscented dish soap at same ratio for similar time as I've already documented.

5 days very happy and 3 day homemade comparison

The flies were attracted the the smell of the liquid but they were too smart to actually go inside to their death. They would all sit on top. Ended up having to spray these with extra bug spray or hit with a fly swatter hole the fruit flies sat on it.

The little apple containers were too small and lightweight. They turned over a lot and spilled out. Also it did not catch a lot of the black bugs I would not purchase this again.
