Two thumbs up. The hose, long wand, and well-sized attachments allow it to double as a real canister vacuum. This greatly enhances the Navigator's versatility. It easily vacuums under beds and bureaus which the original Shark Navigator did poorly. With this vacuum, it is easy to reach ceiling cobwebs, penetrate around shoes on closet floors, shelves, vacuum window sills, and upholstery. They added a little adjustment vent on the handle that allows you to reduce suction strength which is great on dense rugs that used to 'grab' and stall the Navigator. They got rid of that horrid lavender color. I liked both Sharks this far better than my $600 Miele vacuum. This vac is a winner and a bargain at this price. One thing I liked better in the original Shark Navigator was the powerhead. The original Navigator model lifted the pile of the rugs better than this newer model which just sort of rubs across the surface of the pile without fluffing it up much. That said, suction is still excellent and it does far many more cleaning jobs around the house than the original which was only an upright.

I have had many sharks and this one blows them all away. It is so freaking easy to maneuver and it pulls dirt from deep in the carpet. Hardwood floors are just as easy to clean. It’s lightweight and has everything to get pet hair, clean stairs, and vaccum curtains and ceilings. The dirt receptacle is huge and you just click the bottom and it opens from underneath, no more opening the canister and dumping it out 50 times to get it all out. Jeez I love it.

This is easy to turn, gets under my couches, table, chairs and all the stuff I need it to. The hose got the hard to reach spot between my fridge and counter that the broom couldn’t. It went easily back and forth from linoleum to carpet with a simple button click like all the other reviews said. I watched the container fill with fluff and cat and dog hair and our animals don’t shed much. I feel like the house is finally clean. Even the kitchen floor looks mopped and polished and I didn’t mop. I was super glad I chose this vacuum. I read lots of reviews for different models before picking one. This was the right fit for me.

I chose this for the detachable feature for cleaning furniture and dusting. I found this feature was heavy for me to handle, maybe because I am an 86 year old petite woman with arthritis. The vacuum works well on hard floors and carpet.
