[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the timemaster for exactly that. I needed to be done mowing a lot quicker than I was with my 21”. Love the fact that you truly get a 30” cut and not a 27” or something less than advertised like with a 21” mower. I have cut my mowing time down by approx %50 per mow. I now don't dread mowing the yard even if it's one of those hot summer afternoons. The gas tank seems small for the engine but it works for me. I haven't ran out and I just refill with every mow. Glad I purchased this mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Toro 30” Timemaster is a beast!  It works great whether you are bagging the clippings or recycling!  With the 30” deck it also saves a ton of time.  Always starts on the 1st or 2nd pull!

Toro 30” Timemaster

I did a bunch of research on this mower.  I actually purchased a used machine and did a through cleaning and once over to get a better gauge if this was something I would really want. I ended up selling it after I cleaned it up and upgraded some worn parts, there's a nice market for used Timemasters in my area I found out.  I had a Rider mower (approx. 15,000 sq.ft. Lawn) that was on it's way out so I was beginning to see what's available.  I wanted to mulch for a better lawn health and bag the leaves in the Fall which was a huge reason to look at a larger lawn mower, reducing the footprint in my garage was another.  I hard a 22" mower when I first moved in but got a great deal on a rider so I parked that which was 13-14 years ago.  Why the Timemaster, I will note that several lawn guy channels were the initial reference.  Ryan Knorr with Ryan Knorr Lawn Care (I am near Chicago) peaked my interested first with some great videos and so did The Lawn Care Nut, several others after, but I hope you see who has some influence.  I did make a modification prior to assembling my machine, I painted the wheels flat black.

Toro Timemaster Mower

My old mower was not “cutting it.” I did my research online and decided to go with the Toro  Time master. The Time master is a beast! It will power through wet thick heavy grass going up hill, even in mulching mode. The only down side of the Time master is the small gas tank, sometimes I have to refill mod mow.

Smooth and leaves a nice flat top on my yard.  Personal Pace takes a little to get used to, but now....It's smooth sailing wvery time.  Look forward to using this beast every weekend!

TimeMaster Is Right!!  Professional cut EVERY time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to upgrade from my 22" lawnmower to the Toro 30 inch Timemaster and what a difference. I have now used it 3 times and it used to take me exactly 1 hour to mow (this excludes edging) to do my .4 acre lot and now it takes me exactly 30 min. Litterally cut my time in half. Not only is the mower wider so less passes back and forth, it is also much faster with its personal pace drive. It did take some time to get used to as I was used to my old mower which was just one lever that would engage the wheels and you could not adjust the speed. I am so happy with this lawn mower and wish I had bought it sooner. Just for reference I live in central Florida and my lawn is very think St. Agustine grass. I side discharge with zero issues and the mower does not struggle at all. I did mulch my first time and it did an amazing job, but the blades did slow down a couple of times in the thicker sections. It never stalled out though and the cut was still very clean, I just had to slow down my pace just a little in those sections. But bottom line, if you are on the fence spending that much money on a walk behind like I was, it is worth every penny. Like I  said, switching from a 22" walk behind to this has cut my mowing time in exactly half.

Really does save time

Love this mower.  Great cut and a time saver.  I've had this mower for a little over a month now and it's been a great mower so far.  I love the cut and ease of use with the PersonalPace.  It really makes it easy to operate.  I had some tight spots on the front yard that didn't really work for this larger 30" deck so I have the Toro Super Recycler for that.  But this rocks with a Big League Checkmate striper attached.  Attached a couple photos of the large stripes.  By far my favorite mower.

True time saver and great cut quality

The personal pace is fabulous as always this is my 2nd mower my first is an older super recycler and that mower is terrific as well.

Timemaster is a Beast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has owned the Toro Proline 36 inch commercial walk behind mower for the last 18 years, I can say that the TimeMaster is the perfect compromise between a commercial mower and your standard 22 inch deck, self-propelled mower.   It is light and way more manageable than a commercial mower yet the deck size is still very nice.  It was worth losing six inches off of the deck size for these reasons.   I only gave it four stars instead of five for two reasons…. 1) the front wheels are not on casters. Commercial mowers all have casters, and this allows you to turn more quickly while maintaining higher speeds.   2) The Personal pace system takes some getting used to. The front wheels pop up if you accelerate too quickly. Also, I find it uncomfortable on my hands and wrists but that is a personal feeling. Basically, this thing would be the perfect mower if the front wheels were on casters.
