Use only OEM Canon ink cartridges for your Canon printer. For some reason, refill ... Use only OEM Canon ink cartridges for your Canon printer. For some reason, refill inks and cartridges only clog up and fail a short time after installing. When ordering, if you're looking for the 245xl and 246xl inks, don't be fooled by a product headline saying, "Compatible to PG-245xl/CL-246xl". You're actually getting the much smaller volume inks PG-243/CL-244. Otherwise, the sale was easy and free shipping was VERY fast!

The cartridges contain very little ink. I use my printer only occasionally and never ... The cartridges contain very little ink. I use my printer only occasionally and never do any substantial printing jobs. I was surprised when the "low lights" for ink came on so soon (the color light about a week after the black and white) after my purchase (about 3 weeks) and with such modest printing activity. It is sadly true: The manufacturer is busily recovering his "losses" by charging high prices for the ink to compensate for the relatively low price of the device.
