Like its big brother, the Cobold boasts optimal power consumption enabling longer operation for the same battery capacity.
Features a switch for ‘forwards´, ‘off´ and ‘backwards´, also offers a choice of two speeds.
The propeller depth in the water and steering pressure are continuously adjustable via screws.
The tiller can be lowered into the motor head to save space during transport.
Finally, the shaft comes with an ingenious fastener allowing the motor to fold up should it come up against any obstacles.

As per the title they were precise in estimating delivery. Very punctual! I already know the motor and I can only say that it is a good compromise for weight and battery life. It is the second 24 lb that I have purchased for a second kayak. PS, for streamlined kayaks at speed 2 and slightly rough seas it reaches almost 4 knots. I just sent a message with the code shown on the engine shaft to get the power certificate.

Lighter than several other models. Pleased that the motor doesnt use the full power for lightweight inflatable kayak so the battery last for more time. Propeller seems like it could break if you bash it into something but its removable and hopefully easily replceable. Overall a nice and compact unit.

I think it's good a little fragile at the level of the propeller it could be stainless steel it would be more resistant otherwise excellent light easy to carry and could have progressive acceleration it would be more practical

Hi to request the power certificate where is the serial number? The bottom of the box? Because when they sent me they irreversibly attached the plastic with the label and it is no longer possible to see it from there. Is there another system?

The serial number is found on the engine. If I remember correctly it´s on the stem. Now I don´t have it on hand so I can´t verify, however it is printed somewhere on the engine.

It does not have an internal battery so the duration varies according to the one you combine with it. I bought a 40A car battery but I use it for short trips. Make the calculation based on the declared absorption and the A available. The important thing is that you calculate the battery availability at 50%. Running out of battery means shortening its life by a lot
