Water does not even reach the top of the clothes. Was told low water was intentional bc of water conservation purposes but that machine pulls the clothes down (;impeller model) to clean clothes efficiently. Not true. After complete wash, some parts of clothes actually came out dry. Never touched by water. Pls see pic. Also NO FABRIC SOFTENER dispenser. Tried to manually adjust water - stood there hitting the dispenser button. Ridiculous. Called GE 3 times. Totally useless conversations. First time I called, rep told me fabric softener goes into the bleach dispenser. Wrong!! Shocked at the quality of this product

Posted .Hi there, we're so sorry to see you're unhappy with the water level and that this unit doesn't have a fabric softener dispenser. We can certainly understand how this would be disappointing for you and we're happy to help. It's true that you may see less water due to regulations, but if you want more water we suggest selecting Deep Fill on your washer. In addition, if liquid fabric softener is desired, wait until the Rinse cycle status light is lit and the final rinse fill is complete before adding the recommended amount of liquid fabric softener directly to the rinse bath. When adding liquid fabric softener, pour into deeper areas of rinse water while avoiding direct contact with fabric. We hope you find this useful and we're wishing you nothing short of the best. Broke within weeks

It complety spun around, pulled pipes from my wall and flooded the laundry room. With GE warranty it takes 3 to 4 weeks before anyone can look at it and anotjer 5 to 10 days to repair or replace. So buy the extra warranty.

- A:Answer Hello, Good question! We first want to congratulate you on the new appliance. Your business is greatly appreciated and we'd love to help. The washer not filling up is normal. The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. Q: QuestionHello does this washer have a way of letting me know when its time to add fabric softener? If it does how do I activate it. Last, how do I add softener is there a way or do I have to lift the lid and pour it directly on the clothes.

- A:Answer I read the manual and it says to add fabric softener along with the detergent and and choose "deep rinse" option. I was skeptical at first but it does a good job. Hope this helps you.

Q: QuestionI am 5'2" will I be able to reach the bottom of the tub to remove the cloths or will I need a step stool?

- A:Answer I am 5'1 and I found if I got a pair of salad forks . YOu know the ones that you use like scissors ( the best way I can explain it) you can use them to get the cloths out of the bottom. I need to do that as I am so short. Hope this helps you.

- A:Answer No it does not fill to top. You have to keep pushing down the fill button until it fills where you want. The machine does not fill to the top and is not considered to be defective.
