First impression..
Let me preface by saying the DigiPro is a replacement for the Greenworks 40V Dual Blade Mower. I haven't had the best luck with Greenworks as far as longevity goes, this is my 3rd mower in 4 years. My first Dual blade (purchased June 2016) was on recall but was replaced by Greenworks for a different issue in March 2018. The (brand new) replacement started smoking last weekend and then stopped working altogether. I have been unable to get in touch with anyone from Greenworks in regards to warranty despite numerous attempts.I live in central Texas, so I'm mowing the lawn almost year round. Once a week for the back yard, bi-weekly for the front. I have a decent sized lot (for ref. 6,098 sq ft with "2 car" garage, 3-4 vehicle drive, 1,955 sq ft 2-story home). The little green machines have been working hard, but not hard enough die so often.*DigiPro Review: I purchased the DigiPo because of price ( I already have compatible batteries), weight and features. It offers a lot in a small package for a reasonable price. Right out of the box there is minimal assembly. It's compact and light, which is something I was looking for as it is manual push. It is a few pounds lighter than the dual blade mower and only 1 inch shorter in cutting coverage. The DigiPro has 7 height settings vs 5 on the previous mower. The bag is much smaller than the Dual Blade, but isn't a deal breaker. The main chute is offset and the height and angle of the bag is much nicer. I think it allows more of the clippings to get into the bag. I noticed that as some reviewers stated, when this mower gets bogged down from the bag being full, it cuts out. Not a deal breaker. I like that this mower has the option of using a side chute. My Dual Blade(s) did not offer that, so it's an added bonus. So far the only con is that there is no indicator light for the battery and no dual battery port or storage. All in all, if you already have compatible batteries and like something light weight and manual, this is a good choice. I hope it will last longer than my previous mowers.

5.0 out of 5 stars This machine is my new BFF!!
Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2020
Words can't describe how much I love this lawnmower, but I'll give it a try. I have around 25 old growth oaks and elms in the yard and, due to roots and hills, or a combination thereof, its impossible to mow close to them with the z-mower. I hate a weed eater, and it really hurts my back to use one. So .... I took a chance and ordered this, fully expecting to return it with the wonderful Amazon Prime. I mean, how is a battery-powered lawnmower really going to perform? But, I'm tired of dealing with gas cans and engines, and how heavy and hard to maneuver a push mower can be. Let me tell you, it performs! There will be no return!

This machine is fantastic. The deck and handle are steel, but the rest is some pretty tough plastic. I haven't treated it with any special attention, and it takes whatever you try without a scratch so far. I've included photos of one of the trees and its surrounding mess of Johnson grass, tree saplings, weeds a few fire ant beds, and assorted clumps. 30 minutes and one charge of a 2.5aH battery and it was all cleaned up! The battery didn't last longer than that because the motor ran at the higher speed almost the entire time due to the thickness of what was being mowed. I was using it in 'discharge' mode. I haven't used it to mulch or with the catch bag yet.

I've ordered a couple of 6aH batteries so that I can work longer, and I look forward to using my mower for many years to come. It's so light that I can pick it up with one hand (there is a handle near the battery compartment). I can push it up rather steep areas with no problem, and I'm a senior. The noise is like a fan running on high speed, not at all uncomfortable to deal with.
