We encourage you to view the Quick Specs for a view of the back of the dryer and complete dimensions. 1" rear clearance is recommended: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=GTX33EASK_C3.pdf - Also, GE Appliances recommends the use of solid metal vent pipe, 4" in diameter, for adequate operation. 4" flexible metal venting may be used, but will increase drying time somewhat. GE Appliances does not recommend the use flexible, white, plastic vent pipe. This type of vent pipe can collapse and restrict the airflow, causing lint to build up inside the dryer. This build-up could cause the heaters to fail prematurely. We hope this is helpful. Thanks for checking with us!

- A: AnswerHi! Thanks for reaching out. This model can actually be vented through the rear, bottom, left, or right. If you vent the unit using any of the options other than the rear, you'd need to purchase the following part to make sure that the rear of the unit is covered: WE49X22606. - A: AnswerHi CoreyWallace - The Auto Dry feature on GE dryers is designed to help prevent clothes from over drying. Over drying may reduce the life of the fabric. To avoid over drying, the automatic dry feature helps determine the amount of time necessary to dry a load of clothes. By continually sensing the temperatures of the air in the dryer drum, the thermostat controls the heat source (heater coils or gas valve) and the advancement of the dryer timer. When the laundry is wet, the air is cool in the dryer. As the load begins to dry and the drum air is warm, the heat turns off. As the air cools, the control activates the heat to come on again. This off and on cycling may happen a number of times (depending on the fabric, load size, and cycle selector setting). The cycle selector advances (when the heat is off) until it automatically turns off dryer. Also, there is a "cool down" period at the end of the cycle to reduce wrinkling. Thanks for choosing GE! - A: AnswerHello Kelsey. This is Lida with GE Appliances. If you are facing the rear of the dryer, the center point of the vent is 4" from the bottom of the dryer and is 11-3/4" from the left side. I hope this helps!

- A: AnswerHi, Marcia, The picture looks like the flat back dryer that we purchased from Best Buy. It works great, and we are very happy with it. If you get it, and it isn't flat back or fit into your space, the delivery men will take it back and you can get another one. The delivery men are very nice. Does the Job
Works great so far. The lack of a low heat setting and the ability to turn of the buzz is a letdown, though.

Oops. No delicate option
I had only two electric dryer options that could replace our smaller dryer. (Only 31” depth total availabl) This works. No electronic bells and screens. Really loud cycle buzzer! And no delicate. Work around is picking casual temp with less dry then air fluff. Larger capacity than last dryer since it’s taller.
