Gamers take on the role of the gifted hacker Aiden Pearce as he uses his skills to manipulate an open-world version of Chicago in Watch Dogs. A giant network of computers known as the Central Operating System (CtOS) connects and monitors the entire city, from traffic lights and surveillance cameras, to the cell phones and personal computers of private citizens. As a younger man Aiden's affiliation with the criminal underworld led to his niece's death, so when he learns his family may be in danger again, he uses his expertise to hack into CtOS and hand out vigilante justice.<br><br>Watch Dogs lets players explore Chicago in a variety of ways, with Aiden walking the streets, entering buildings, using mass transit, and driving more than 65 different vehicles. Aiden has access to the CtOS from his smart phone, meaning an average walk can include him altering traffic lights to cause accidents, tapping into surveillance cameras, or getting detailed personal information on pedestrians, including access to their bank accounts. Players are free to use this power in any way they wish, creating havoc in the streets and leading police on fruitless high-speed chases, or stealing from the rich and using a computer to fight criminal activity from miles away. While using stealth is one of Aiden's specialties, he's also quite adept with a baton, and gamers can wield more than 30 different firearms.<br><br>The single-player campaign in Watch Dogs is structured in much the same way that Ubisoft's open-world franchises Assassin's Creed and Far Cry are, with players heading to a central location in each of the city's districts in order to unlock a variety of side missions, mini-games, and collectible items. The game also includes several multiplayer modes, including an eight-player free roam mode, car and boat races, and an asynchronous mode in which gamers attempt to hack one another without being detected.

Watch dogs is a huge disappointment
The game took a enormously long time to initially load into the PS 3 super slim 250gb with the disc and then every time the character dies it takes a huge amount of time to load the game to play and after dealing with that for a little bit i decided that game isn't worthy of playing any more such as it enormously wastes my very only life away waiting for that game to load and i mean it takes a very very long time to load. I don't recommend this game to anyone who wants to not have their life enormously wasted away. If it wasn't for the huge amounts of time it takes to load the game may be awesome,but after i seen how long it takes to load after the character dies i decided not to play any more and it was a quick decision such as i was not willing to waste my life waiting for that game to ... I Googled it of the long loading and it seems many people have complained about Watch Dogs taking way to long to load which i didn't see the others complaints until i already purchased it and seen the long loading times myself. I don't recommend this game. Maybe if somehow it loads far more efficiently than what i seen occur then maybe the game could be fun to play and such.

The story is crazy and very interesting, there's isn't a dull moment. The gameplay is really awesome it's an open world which is very similar to GTA V. you can hijack any car or motorcycle and listen to a large variety or music on the radio or just find it on your phone and play it while walking around. The physics in the game takes some time to get used to if you play GTA V alot, but if not it's pretty good. This game really reminds me of Batman,(hear me out) because the main character Aiden Pearce is a vigilante and you have the ability to hack almost ANYTHING from peoples text messages, which can be funny at times, to public electronics like traffic lights, transformers (to cause temporary blackouts in the area), bridges, and huge steam pipes under streets. you have you're own ... The story is crazy and very interesting, there's isn't a dull moment. While playing you get random reports of a crime taking place and you can choose whether to stop it or ignore it. killing or saving civilians affect your reputation. if your rep is on the negative side, when the news tells people to be aware of "the vigilante", civilians will call the police to your location then the fun starts. when you do missions you can do it stealthy kinda like metal gear solid and take out people while distracting them with a car alarms, or setting off someones cell phone. or you can go in rambo style using some slow motion thing either way its fun as hell. my favorite part of the game is running away from the police or gangs trying to find you. you can use anything and everything, upgrade to using huge blackouts, distrupting communication, opening public garages and even hiding in your car. anywayz i hope this helps until someone makes a better review.
