Your game hoist is exactly what I wanted and expected from the reviews I read. It takes a couple of 17mm wrenches to install all the parts and about 10 minutes. This will be in my truck this hunting season and used on other projects.

Are primary reason for the purchase was for lifting deer to get in the truck bed. My husband and I are not able to lift as much anymore, we thought this would be useful for various application as well. Now that we have the hoist, which we received in 2 days of our order, we see that it is very capable of doing most of the lifting we will require of it.

Multipurpose

I've been wanting a receiver hitch hoist for some time, but most of the ones I looked at were cheaply built. I was considering building one with weight bench components until I ran across the Kill Shot hoist. Not only is it well built, the adjustable foot makes it very stable and it pivots on two sets of bearings, not a piece of pipe like most of the others. My Dodge Ram pick-up sits very high, so this is going to work great for lifting generators and other heavy items onto the tailgate and into the bed. Priced well, too!

Just what Dad wanted!

I seldom buy things online like this because you can never tell the quality. I was 500% satisfied with this hoist.. after taking maybe 15-20 minutes to unpack and assemble I could tell this was strong. That same weekend i downed a deer and put it to work. 1.5 hours later deer was quartered and i was driving home all from the tailgate of my truck. unbelievable quality. I'm giving it 5 stars because this is a great price on a quality hoist. my only concern is the webbing and after inspecting it you can always buy a heavy duty one to replace it with for under 50 bucks. your getting a hoist that will stand the test of time...

So far the only thing I have hoisted with it is my generator. But it worked great to load and unload in the back of my Polaris Ranger. It seems to be very well built.

I have used the game hoist to load multiple deer over the the time I have owned it. Also used it to move or load generators tillers, and other equipment on both pickups and UTV's. Good product that has never been a problem. Easy to set up and use. Would recommend to anyone.

Great product

Ordered this lift on a Monday afternoon it arrived Tuesday afternoon. I set it up easily by myself on Wednesday. Shot a nice doe that evening it was the easiest way I've ever used to get my deer into my lifted truck. Very solid piece of equipment and you can't beat the price.

We found this on line after my elk hunting partner saw a competitors design on another rig. The DR hoist is preferred; the finish is better, we like the welds (VS nuts & bolts) as well as the height, two piece construction and apparent ease of use. We have high hopes to use it this coming season. If so we can post a follow-up evaluation.
