- A: AnswerThat resistance you’re feeling is from the mechanism that closes/keeps open the door. If you look at the very bottom of where the door swings open you’ll see a white plastic lever. I believe it’s designed to help assist in closing the door but also when you open it past the halfway mark to keep it open.

The refrigerator compartment contents may freeze. Do not install the refrigerator where the surrounding air temperature may reach 110°F (43°C) or above. The refrigerator and freezer compartments may rise to above normal operating temperatures. In researching, we were unable to locate any compact refrigerators that are recommended to be installed in area that goes below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. - A: AnswerHi Chris - it is recommended that the refrigerator/freezer sits on a hard surface. Carpeting if wet will get moldy, it is more difficult to level the appliance & a hard surface allows better ventilation. Though there are no air vents that exhaust out the underside of the unit, when the cooling fan is operating, carpet fibers could get sucked up by the fan and deposited on the motor and coils. The bottom does get warm.

FREEZE AT THE TAILGATE
So far so good. Took it to a tailgate in Auburn and it was in the sun all day and worked extremely well. It freeze the water bottles I put in it in a very short period of time.Pun intended! LOL Also fits in my camper perfectly.

Perfect size for what i wanted but arrived damaged
I had tight size constraints for where this needed to go, and it fits my needs perfectly. Luckily it’s just in the corner of my workshop, since it was delivered with a crunched top corner. The exterior of the box looked fine. And the styrofoam ‘halo’ that goes over the top was completely intact. Either it was a weird coincidence, it got packed with the damage already done, or someone repacked it. Ever single other component (shelves and racks) are packed with styrofoam and tape to make sure they’re not damaged. It’s not worth the hassle to return since it’s just going in the shop.

Damaged mini fridge
This mini fridge is great the reason i have it a 4 is because it arrived abashed in the corner. My husband put it downstairs and i did not notice until today when i went to take off the plastic around it. I know it's too late to return for one that's not damaged that's our fault for not checking.
