My favorite!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I love this machine! I’m a big fan of the fully automatic espresso option. It is very convenient & I use it every day. I love that you can choose how fine you want your coffee beans ground up. The only downside is that it does use a lot of water being that it does have a cleaning option.

Replaced Jura
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes good coffee (not quite as good as my old Jura, but close), easy to use. For the money, a very good option. Only complaint is the sticker they place on the bean hopper, it is impossible to remove. This issue raised in other reviews, not sure why they continue to put it on

Great coffee machine!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This coffee machine has been a game changer! I needed to get away from all the pods use and shift to freshly ground. It was easy to install and get up and running. Perfect temp coffee, easy to clean and several options. I usually do regular coffee and espresso and it’s been always perfect. Machine does a good job warning you when to clean and add water. It does not warn you when the beans run out, so gotta keep an eye out for that.

Awesome tasting coffee
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having it for over a year now and enjoying it every day! Coffee options to satisfy the needs of everyone in my house. Reasonably fine to maintain it. Coffee tastes as good as the first day since I got it and as expensive as a Starbucks one.

If you ❤️Coffee, you deserve this machine
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exceptional product you get what you pay for but with Starbucks over $10 for a decent coffee drink… this machine will pay for itself in no time… just blown away at the quality of the Phillips machine… and the taste is just Uber delicious…

Its ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good coffee maker. I said coffee. Not espresso. Had so many issues with. Very high on maintenance. Brewer requires a lot of time to clean. Lubricate then putt back in machine. Can be very messy after few brewes.Sometime its a hassle. Broke after 10 month.

Well-designed easy-to-use machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this machine for 2 weeks and it has met or exceeded the expectations I had based on reading many, many reviews of various machines. The machine arrived double-boxed and well-packed, though left upside-down by the carrier because BB put the shipping label on the bottom for some reason. The machine didn't seem to care about being upside-down at least. Setup was simple and straight-forward. I'm not sure why a couple reviewers found it onerous; it really wasn't. I spend about 5 minutes cleaning the machine and a few minutes pre-soaking the filter, but otherwise it's about 5 minutes to set up. The only issue I had is the pictorial instructions for the water filter are not clear on what orientation the filter should be submerged in. I just did it both ways and made sure it was full of water (no air). Later in the manual, it does say in text to invert it. As the manual indicates, the first few cups of coffee are very weak and should be discarded. As some others have noted, the "pucks" from the first set of brews are mushy and loose sludge. After the first empty, I have had very slightly moist pucks that hold their form. I have not had a superautomatic before, but the quality of the coffee is certainly better than the pod system I have been using for years and is in line with what I get in shops. I selected this model to have a few extra features in "software" and I'm glad I did. I quickly found I prefer "Americano" to "Coffee" and appreciate being able to easily control the volume, amount of coffee, and temperature from the panel. I can hit the "Americano" button and walk away to make eggs, or I can make 1-2 espresso shots and then add water manually, etc. Operation is straight-forward and obvious. The bean hopper holds about 2/3 of a 12oz bag; it would have been nice if it held the entire bag so I wouldn't have to re-store the partial bag. Of course this would make the machine bigger, and maybe others who buy 8oz bags would dislike that their beans are sitting in more air space. The hopper lid does have a rubber gasket seal to help keep the beans fresh. The slope is very shallow, but all but a couple beans did find their way into the grinder without assistance. But, I can understand why people recommend not using oily beans. I'm not sure why the engineers didn't increase the slope to address those issues; maybe they are trying very hard to keep the machine compact. In the same way, the water reservoir is a bit on the small side. I fill it at least once and often twice in a morning. The cannister easily slides out, has a nice handle that makes it easy to carry and fill, and slides into place easily. I have not had any problem with water leakage as a few people mentioned. That said, I would have preferred a way to add water in place. We'll see how many years the sealing mechanism continues to hold up with daily disconnects. The grinder is about as loud as one would expect, but the pump on this unit seems on the loud side. It is definitely not a sound you want while trying to talk or watch tv, but on the other hand it's not so loud that I worry about waking anyone when I'm brewing the first cup at 6am. I have cleaned the machine once so far. The brew group came out okay - you have to depress a button, and wiggle the unit a little to get it out. It went back in so easily that I was not sure it was actually back in place, removed it, and put it back in. The unit itself was easy to clean, just loose coffee dust here and there. It was clean enough after a week that I am going a little longer this time. The water tray and puck bin slide out to the front easily and are also easy to clean. My only complaint here is that the water level can be quite near the top of the tray. I can imagine older folks or people with tremors having a hard time carrying a fullish tray of water to the sink to empty and clean. The engineers were thoughtful in many areas of the design: parts are clearly labeled with whether they can go in the dishwasher or not, and the parts are designed to fit together in only one, obvious way. I don't have any real interest in the milk system, but I tried out the frother just because it was there. It was easy to use, frothed a cup of milk in several seconds, and was quick and easy to take apart, rinse, and reinstall.

My 2nd Philips Coffee Maker
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They've perfected every detail of ease of usage: the previous Saeco used to drip from bottom, but now the drip tray covers the entire underside in one reservoir. The Saeco rubber stoppers of drip tray got old and brittle, and I made do with electrical tape. The new model has no such rubber parts, and all drip tray surfaces washes off clean with hot water bc of some coating on the plastic drip tray. The overall design is sleeker, better layed out, and all dishwasher safe (no rubber parts, for example).

Q: QuestionCan this machine only use coffe beans? Im asking this because in the morning I drink regular coffee and at night I like one cup of decaf, so do I need to take the coffee beans out and add the decaf ones?
Asked by ana.
- A:Answer You could use the bean hopper for unground regular beans and then it has a shoot for pre-ground beans that could be used for decaf at night or Vice-versa.

Q: QuestionJust wondering how hard it is to keep this machine maintained, specifically occasionally cleaning and descaling it? Does it come with any lubricant to put on moving parts and brew assembly? Also, how is the overall taste of the shots?
Asked by JayWalkin.
- A:Answer It seems like any other machine easy to descale. I use purified water so I normally never have an issue with any machines. Like Nespresso you drop descaling solution in and run. It came with oil for parts. You can take the internal parts out to clean very easily. The shots taste good-providing you find the grind and roast/coffee you like. The only complaint I have is the on/off button is fickle.

Q: QuestionDOES THIS MACHINE MAKE REGULAR COFFEE IN ONE STEP
Asked by BARBIE.
- A:Answer The 3200 has buttons for Coffee and Americano that will make those drinks in one step. You can select three levels of coffee to use and three levels of volume. You can separately add more hot water if you like, though that comes out of the milk frothing wand so you need to move the cup to do that as well as use the hot water button.
