I am not an electrician but as long as your not color blind you should be able to do hook up at gen set and transfer switch.if you have no experience you might need help with the transfer switch.

Great Little Generator
We bought this Generac 10KW generator to protect ourselves from outages at our lake house where power goes out frequently. Because of it's size it will not power up everything but will restore power to the essential things that we really need. Nice people to work with at this website.

So far so good
Service from AP Electric was easy and flawless. The delivery went smoothly as well. With lift gate option, unloading was easy and the driver assisted as I dragged the unit down the drive with my tractor. This unit replaces a Generac 8kw where the ring went bad as it smoked and went thru oil in no time. Giving Generac another chance. AP Electric, job well done!
