Literally broke on the first cast
I got a 5wt after my old one that I had for years broke, first cast with a small streamer it snapped. I cannot believe it. My previous one lasted quite a while so I was surprised. If I don’t get some sort of warranty I will never buy another fenwick product!

Love This Rod
I bought this rod Spring of 2022. i got the 8', 4wt. Incredibly pleased. Lightweight, smooth casting and it handles big trout on small flies. Nice case to protect it to and from the stream. Excellent value.

Fantastic
I have had a Sage rod for 20 years, except now the 2nd section is in the bottom of a lake. I sent it for a new section to he made. In the meantime I purchased the Fenwick Eagle to get me by and I'm glad I did. It really is a nice rod and so smooth to use in the 6 weight, and you can't beat the price. Honestly, I almost prefer it to my Sage.

Great bang for your buck. Excellent customer servi
Loved this rod, used for Atlantic salmon here in Newfoundland Canada.Performs excellent. Broke it last week on a tree branch, totally my fault. Warranty period up but they have a new one on the way at no cost to me. That is high end service you don't get from some very high end products.

great all purpose rod
I like the shorter length for general purpose use. My want a longer one for some of the trout fishing. Great rod and value.

Poor workmanship. Fit and Finish
I bought this rod to have as a travel rod, I opened it, and removed the plastic wrapper on the grip....Surprise...it looks like the person who was to do this task was in a hurry, or lacked the experience to finish it properly, looks terrible, have a large gob of putty or filler or what have you at the grip....quality control was lacking to say the least. Having the above in mind, I would not recommend this to someone looking to purchase a new rod.

For the money can't buy any better..Thanks Fenwick
I bought an 8 weight about 10 years ago and I have to say it's right up there with the more expensive premium brands....Fenwick makes a wonderful fly rod...Thanks from a life long customer. ..N.S. CANADA. .
