I was skeptical at first after reading some of the reviews.  For my application, my 8 foot workbench didn't require the power cord to be ran from the side.  Installation of the powerstrip was easy.  All of the outlets work well.  Fingers crossed!

My setup

A very nice addition to my 8 ft. Gladiator work bench. Installation went well and all outlets are working as designed. I also like the tool caddies on the ends. It gives the bench a nice finish against my garage wall.

I would suggest that you better align the correct size power strip with the appropriate size bench. I.e.: 6 ft to 6ft and 8ft to 8ft. It is nor clear on  your website... which goes with which.

Appropriate size power strip to bench

Great power strip matches my gladiator work bench in color and length, but I will address the elephant in the room. After reading the other reviews I figured they might have fixed the power cord issue but they have not. Instead of running it out the side it comes straight out the back preventing your bench from sitting flush. So I hogged out a 3/4 hole and pulled the power cord through a grommet, wiring was just long enough to do this without pulling or sitting odd inside the case.

Cord is to the left only so you must have an outlet in that direction or run another extension. The outlet itself is very nice and easy enough to install. The directions suggest running a pilot hole but it is not necessary so long as you at least mark the spots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality but hard to install when they give you the wrong screws and poor instructions.  The tool caddy attachments are pretty useless.  As another person noted, they really should have a bottom piece.  Wrong # of screws were supplied for the caddy's.   Broke one off trying to force it to do the missing screws job.

Ok, but overpriced and hard to set up.

I purchased this power strip after using my new Gladiator workbench for close to a year. The power strip is a very nice addition to the workbench, and overall I am satisfied with my purchase. Gladiator products are second to none in looks and durability. However, I was very disappointed to discover near the end of the installation that one end flap of the power strip was bent in about 1/4 of an inch during manufacture, making installation of one of the tool holders impossible with the screws provided. I searched around my workshop and fortunately found a longer machine screw that would fit the top screw hole of the power strip, and make up for the 1/4 inch gap. Due to the angle of the bent flap, however, there was no way I could get the bottom screw installed. I made do with only one screw into the power strip and one into the workbench. The tool holder will probably be sturdy enough the way I installed it, but it seems like there should be better quality control at the factory. The bent flap was not due to shipping, as there was no damage to the exterior packaging at that location.

After sometime using it, a couple of outlets stopped delivering power. Since the warranty had expired I opened it up. To my surprise the outlet connections are flimsy and use a blade-type connection that pierces each cable to make the contact. Some of them were barely pierced and created hot spots ending in breaking the connection.

Gladiator Pros 

Just received mine in the mail.  Close to a perfect product, but totally flawed.  The plug cable exits the product on the back, not the side.  And it is a stiff exit, so the outlet probably needs to sit 2-3 inches from the wall.  This makes the product un-usable if your bench is flush against your garage or shop wall.  I am baffled why they would make the product with this configuration.

What I find more annoying are the photos accompanying the product.  First, the photo of the outlet by itself has the side tool caddies mounted. And it shows the plug coming off the side of the outlet.  That is very misleading.  

Second, take a look at the photo of the outlet on the bench taken looking down from above. The bench is clearly flush against the wall, and the outlet is mounted.  That's not possible.  My guess is they cut the plug off the back for the photos.  Or photoshopped.  I just don't see how they could get that configuration with the outlet cable design of this product.  The cabinets underneath are clearly flush against wall and the depth of the bench. The bench legs are clearly flush.  So how is the outlet flush with the slatwall right above it.  I have slatwall.  It is not thick enough to hide the big gap that should be there.

The photo taken off-angle from the side also shows the outlet flush mounted.  It conveniently hides the left side from view so you can't see that the cable doesn't come off the side.  Again, I do not think it is possible to get this mounted in the way the photos depict.  

I plan to return mine tomorrow.  Disappointing because otherwise a near-perfect product.
